We want S'more Treats!

Happy Halloween from the Sargent Family! It was our first here in Oregon and we had a great one! We continued our tradition of themed costumes, and popped out for some trick or treating with friends. But not before taking those pumpkins we got from the patch and turning them into some ace jack-o-lanterns. I chose a white, veined variety and she didn't disappoint. Not one bit. Matt's pumpkin has flames (so clever!) and Kiel's was carved into the best representation of the face he made when we asked him what sentiment he thought his pumpkin should express. We even carved a wee one for Eva. And only a toothy smile would do.

This year, we dressed as a campfire favorite, S'mores. The fellas were graham crackers, I was chocolate, and Eva was our marshmallow. We even came complete with a bag o' fire.
Admit it, you want us at your next camp-out, don't you?
Our friends went as an undersea family -- three sharks and a tasty lobster snack!
Adorable.
This little marshmallow was my buddy for the evening, and she certainly melted my cocoa heart! Especially with her little runny nose. Yup, the kids are both battling colds, but that wasn't going to stop them from collecting candy or spreading cuteness!
My handsome hubby rocked his cracker costume. Did I mention he made them? Nothing hotter than a creative man, ladies.
J and K did wonderfully. So polite. They killed their mamas with cuteness, and I think quite a few neighbors as well.
We came home and vegged on oranges and grain-free pumpkin pie, then proceeded to sort the loot!
Once the kids were in bed, we sat down with a special treat of our own...

Cheers!
